The GWSB website is designed to provide information about the many products and services offered by GWSB. It is here to assist you in managing your finances, including your deposit and lending accounts with the bank, and to make that process easy, and available when it is convenient for you. Complete information on any product or service we offer can be obtained by calling our offices. Information maintained by our office supercedes that appearing on this site. All services, products, fees and interest rates are subject to change at the bank's discretion. Online Banking

The GWSB Online Banking service allows you to bank when you want to, in the comfort of your home or office. Online Bill Payment

The GWSB Online Bill Payment service is an easy and secure way to pay all of your bills anytime, without writing checks, purchasing stamps or making that trip to the postal delivery location. 24-Hour Depository

Available 24 hours a day, our 24-Hour Depository (also known as the Night Drop) can be used to drop off deposits, loan payments and other communications. Items including deposits placed in the depository by 8:00 AM of any business day will be processed that day. Deposits placed in the depository after 8:00 AM will be processed the next business day. All items should be placed in a sealed envelope or bag to avoid the contents from becoming loose or mixing with other items. Deposit bags for business use are available at the bank. Safekeeping items are not accepted via the 24-Hour depository. Items placed in the depository are not considered received until verified by the bank.

American Express Gift Card

Offered in denominations of $25, $50 and $100, the American Express Gift Card can be used for most any purchase. GWSB offers this service at any Teller services station. (click here for fees)

American Express Gift Check

Offered in denominations of $25, $50 and $100, the American Express Gift Check can be used for most purchases, or to give as a gift. Obtained at any Teller services station. (click here for fees)

American Express Traveler Card

A prepaid electronic card that is offered in denominations of $500, $700, $1,000 and $2,000. The card has a four-year expiration date, but the funds never expire. Can be reloaded via phone every 14 days in $100 increments, up to $2,750.00. Check card balances via Amex toll-free telephone number, and accepted at locations that accept American Express Cards, including ATMs. American Express emergency assistance is available. American Express Traveler's Checks

American Express Traveler's Checks are safe, easy and convenient to use whether at home, on vacation or for business travel. Use them to avoid carrying large sums of cash. They are easy to replace if lost or stolen. (click here for fees)

Automatic and Pre-Authorized Transfer

Automatic Transfer and Pre-Authorized Transfer are services to simplify your life. Use this service to automatically pay your GWSB loan payment, directly from your GWSB checking, statement savings or money market account. Or use for an automatic savings program, by pre-arranging monthly transfers from your checking account to your savings or money market account. Cashier's Checks

GWSB Cashier's Checks may be purchased whenever a secure method is desired to effect a movement of funds, instead of carrying cash. Cashiers Checks should be kept secure, as a delay may occur in refunding due to a lost or stolen item. Cashier's checks are available at any Teller Services station. (click here for fees)

Check Printing

Many styles of checks, checkbook covers, deposit tickets, endorsement stamps and other accessories for both personal and business accounts are available. From the simplest basic banking products to the more elegant or computer check-writing systems, please contact a Personal Banker for details and to place your order.

Combined Statements

The GWSB Combined Statement lets you see all accounts on one convenient, detailed monthly statement. Checking, Statement Savings, Money Market and Loan accounts can be combined as long as the accounts bear the same owners and address. Statement will be issued based on the checking account statement date.

Direct Deposit

No more running to the bank, or to the mailbox. Have your payroll, social security or other recurring payments automatically sent to your GWSB checking, savings or money market account. For your payroll, signing up is easy, just provide your employer with your account number and the GWSB routing and transit number, which is 271972844.

GWSB Debit/ATM card

The GWSB VISA Debit Card allows you to conduct banking conveniently without the use or cost of checks. Use it for ATM cash withdrawals and other ATM activity. Accepted by merchants who accept VISA debit cards and used like a credit card, make most purchases anywhere. If your card becomes lost or stolen, you may contact our banking office in Oak Lawn at (708) 636-4100, or our banking office in Orland Park at (708) 460-8200 during normal business hours. After hours, please call 1-800-472-3272.

Money Orders

GWSB Money Orders are a safe and convenient way to pay bills or send funds. Money orders are issued up to a $500.00 maximum. Available at any Teller Services station. (click here for fees)

Notary Service

A free service offered by GWSB for those customers who are in need of having their signature verified. Please see any Personal Banker.

Safe Deposit

Safe Deposit Boxes are available at our Orland Park location. Choose from a variety of sizes to secure your most valuable possessions and papers. Charges depend on the box size chosen. GWSB recommends that the box renter secure insurance coverage for the full value of the contents of the box, and assumes all risk for the same, as the bank does not maintain insurance for box contents. Please contact a Personal Banker at the Orland Park office for details on our safe deposit box program.

Savings Bonds

Series EE Bond

The Series EE Bond is an appreciation-type security that is purchased for 50% of the bond's face amount. Face values range from $50 to $10,000 at a cost of $25 to $5,000 and may be redeemed 1 year after the issue date.

Series I Bond

The Series I Bond is purchased at face value and grows with inflation-protected earnings for up to 30 years. Savings bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government and mailed within 15 business days of purchase by the Federal Reserve Bank.

Bonds may be cashed for up to $1,000 for non-customers with a valid drivers license. GWSB will assist in reissuing for $10.00 plus $0.25 per bond including postage. For rates and maturity dates, call 1-800-US-BONDS or go to www.savingsbonds.gov.

Teller Checks

Purchased in conjunction with a withdrawal from your account, Teller Checks can be issued in any amount and your first check is offered at no charge. Use them to send funds anywhere, safely and conveniently. Available at any Teller Services Station. (click here for fees)

Wire Transfers

Available to customers of GWSB, outgoing wire transfers can be used to move funds safely and quickly across town or across the country. For outgoing wire transfers, funds are withdrawn from your account based on your authorization. Please contact a personal banker and provide GWSB with the destination of the funds, including the receiving bank routing number, bank name and address, receiving customer account number at that bank and their address.
